TITLE:Product Manager
Provide
organization with necessary information, insight, analysis and strategy to
drive product development effort, current and future.
Analyze and
maintain information regarding market dynamics, customer trends, competitive
activities and new technologyapplications.
Develop
and execute a product marketing strategy and plan for major products.Sucha
plan will include product positioning, pricing, selling strategy and
promotional plan.A financial
analysis, (i.e. business plan) will also be performed.
Develop
and execute new product introduction plan to include:
Strategy
Communication
and Promotion
Advertising
Training
Requirements
Pricing
and Financial Analysis\
Others
as required
Provide
customer requirements and functional specifications needed to compete
effectively within each market segment.
Provide
marketing requirements and assist in the development of product
specification for new products.
Perform
necessary market research and market intelligence to support above
responsibilities.
Identify
and cultivate relationships with clinical experts within each market
segment.
Identify
recommend and assist in execution of business development activities for
product and marketing opportunities not currently addressed but which may
impact the achievement divisional objectives.
Maintain
unit forecast for assigned products using department forecast database.
Provide
over all marketing direction, customer advocacy and a business approach to
Product Control Groups.Present
relevant information at “D” reviews.
Perform
other duties as required.
Qualifications:
BS/BA or equivalent with 5-8
years experience in medical electronic marketing, patient monitoring
preferred.
Technical, clinical and sales
experience is also required.
