Director of Business Development
Assist with OEM Product Development & Manufacturing, sales & e-commerce activities, trade shows and exhibitions; ; proposal/contract preparation; assist with development of Contract Services Division Strategy. Requires: MBA and/or PhD. and 5-10 years experience in Product Management, Project Management and Sales.
Our client is seeking to fill the position of Director of Specialty Products. This staff position reports directly to the President. The Director's position is responsible for all facets of sales and marketing programs for Specialty Products on a Worldwide basis. Duties include design and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, forecast sales, over see Business Development Managers, U.S. Sales Reps and European Business Development Manager in order to meet quarterly and annual sales forecasts and responsible for developing new specialty products.
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years sales and marketing management experience in the life science area; have strong knowledge in the areas of collection (blood, urine, saliva), sample preparation, and sample analysis (papers, large pore membranes); and must possess expertise in the Clinical Diagnostics Market; be a strategist, an innovator, a producer, and a decision-maker.
